Best Buy Coupon Select Items! ( Free Laptop Bags)

Looks like best buy put out the "Say whatever you want to say, we are NOT honoring this coupon" notice to their managers.

I almost want to go back to the store and do this again just to get in an argument with them over this. Good times.

I'm brave enough to actually admit I work in the geek squad. I have to pay my grad school bills somehow. Anyway, we got signs from corporate today (I assume) and they put them up EVERYWHERE. I'm amazed it lasted as long as it did with people taking 5,10 bags a trip. Actually, at our store I only saw 2 people use the coupon and each got 1 bag. The coupon still works in the POS program. Our managers called corporate asking about it still being up at Images.bestbuy and said they couldnt take down the coupon. Hahaha, they dont even have control of their own webservers.

Cant you just get another online coupon that seems legit ans is hosted by "images.bestbuy".. then use that coupon and see if it works, then you whippout the coupon on this thread and use it, if they say they cant honor it because they dont own images.bestbuy, you can say to them that they do because they honored the other coupon, hosted by no other than "images.bestbuy"

drove about an hour to the nearest best buy
they raised the price of the bags to 30 dollars, so i couldnt make off with like 7
i did manage to use the coupon on a free stick of ram for my laptop, i cant really use it because i already have two 512mb sticks, so its up for sale for cheap in my thread in fs/ft forum
when the guy rung it up hes like 'this is a damn good deal'
i was like 'i know'
he brought the receipt and the coupon over to the head geek squad loser, and said 'this kid got this ram for free'
fat geek squad leader guy goes 'THATS SICK ::incoherent exclamations::"

i ended up hanging around for like 15 minutes afterwards and handing out the remaining coupons i had printed to different people looking at all-in-ones, ups's and other stuff covered by the coupons.
i ended up using one for myself and handed out 6 to other people
i also hid like 6 "5 dollars off any ps2 game' coupons behind some ps2 games in the ps2 aisle
i saw a stock person file through the games to put new ones out and come across one of my coupons, pick it up, stare at it in wonder for FIVE MINUTES (i kid you not) then crumple it up and put it on his cart

i gave a few of those coupons away too.. i just want to like litter a best buy with them...... everyone gets one!

Well, Im buying a laptop tommarow at bb, also a lcd. I wonder if they will still honor the deal for me Also, Im gonna bring in my sff , I saw a stick of 512MB corsair xms with the lights for $99, +$30 installation -$90 coupon=$40. I hope they will honor coupon

Yesterday i started my evening after work for the HUNT, i got 2 sticks from one best buy they made me go back home and get the laptop, keep in mind there is a 2 stick limit per customer so you are good for 2 sticks if you have 2 coupons.
Then i went back to the other bestbuy who refused to give me the memory over the weekend, but this time i took the Case# OP gave it to us. So the same manager gave me the memory, but i thought by monday they realized it is a real coupon not a fake.
So i ended up with 3 sticks all togather, and please some body tell me how to get a free laptop bag because i could not find any $20 laptop bag in BESTBUY.

They raised the price of the bags to 39.99 in my area. BASTARDS!

Possibly the funniest thing I have read all year!

So, in accordence with the rules here concerning fileing a complaint agains Best Buy with the Better Buieness Bureau, i had to first try to reconcile the problem with the company.

So i wanted to follow the rules, i sent Best Buy coporate offices a letter on the letter head i use for work "Kelley Cawthorne Attorneys at Law, PLLC" i got no response, i sent the same letter in an email to there online help thing. Basically i just said that i was a customer that had this coupon, and i was not treated well at all by the manager at this store, and i was asked to leave.

I got no respons from the actual mailed letter, but the e-mail i got back stated that they are not honoring that coupon anymore, etc...

So i decided to send a nasty letter and email. This is what i wrote in the second letter:

Hello. I seem to have a problem redeeming a coupon that I received from your company. Coupon code: 6867544 is the coupon in question here. It seems that when attempting to redeem it for $20 off of a laptop case it must be done when purchasing a laptop. No where on the coupon is there an asterisk stating that restrictions apply, or anything to that extent. I was also rudely handled in the store I visited when communicating with the manager about how the coupon that I had was either a fraud or something to that extent. I am hoping that this problem will be resolved before I have to escalate my claim to include the Michigan Better Business Bureau.

So, i think that they thought at first they were dealing with some punk kid, then they realized that they could get into a lot of trouble over not honoring their coupon, and offered to reconcile it.. hehe i dont really care, Office Max honored my coupon, and now im getting a $20 gift card from Best Buy..... I love this shit!

i once wrote a complaint email to "century theathers" after a nasty firedrill incident during a movie. the rep said they would give me 2 free tickets as in apology to what happened and i never recieved those tickets... its been 2 months.
