Right now I have a pair of those $20 sony headphones(they're grey and really big) that you buy at walmart. I'm looking for an upgrade for music headphones that will sound amazing compared to those. I'm looking to spend around $50, and I've been looking at the senheisers on newegg. I want a nice bass sound that adds to the surrounding instruments, any ideas.

Think about your requirements for sec....
Do you phones that isolate you from surrounding noise?
Do you need phones that don't leak a lot of sound?
If the answer to both was yes get the HD212's
If not get the HD497's
(The 212's have more bass but not as much accuracy as the 497's... so pick your poison.
