new newegg ad eats 100% of proc

I know I'm supposed to be supportive of our sponsors and all, but newegg's new ad is eating up 100% of my processor w/ firefox. Can you get them to make it less intense?

600mhz celeron.

i am having the same problem, my computer is only 333mhz but damn! i have comcast high-speed internet and do not expect this kind of slow loading from any site i visit!

[EDIT] maybe newegg did this on purpose? if we think our computers suck because of the bad load times......we will see the ad and buy better stuff from them

I think it has been established that the problem, if there is one, is on an individual usage basis and not an across the board problem. For the record I'm getting 2-7% with 27% spikes on the cycle as are most other members. If it proves to be a system wide problem, it will be addressed.

I don't know what useage it takes on my A64 3000+.

I'm not shutting down FAH5 long enough to find out, either.

Well, better check...

...

Hmmm, looks like about 18% average loss of FAH5 goodness with this page loaded AND the ad visible on the page. If I scroll down, or change to another tab, Core_65 jumps back to 98%.

New ad, please.
