Mounting network drives -xp

No. Files on other computers on your network can only be accessed via your local network display in windows (My Network Viewer etc.) or linked back. You cannot "mount" drives in windows. This isn't linux.

i believe he means map a network drive, and yes it is possible.. not sure about home, as i have always used pro. but just either go to the foler you want on the network, right click and click map network drive, or go to tools in my computer .

Thats what I meant by "linked back". My bad, should have been more verbose.

I was gonna agree that yes, it is possible to do it in Home. You can either find it in the network places or you can type the address of the drive itself.

And for future reference, that is exactly the same as mounting in *nix.
