Harvard University has been awarded $28 million from the Intelligence Advanced Projects Activity organization to make AI systems as fast as the human brain.

Harvard's John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), Centre for Brain Studies (CBS) and Department of Molecular and Cellular Biologies will work together to record activity inside the visual cortex. This, they hope, will help us understand how neurons are connected to each other with the end goal of creating a more accurate and complex artificial intelligence system. These learnings could allow the creation of the first computer systems that can interpret, analyse and learn information as quickly and successfully as human beings.

If Fallout 4 has taught me anything is that we should throw money towards MIT, because Synths.

Sexbots is better than AI.

But... your sex bots have no genitalia...

:p

Those are Gen 1's, not like the Gen 3's which are made of blood and flesh. Though I'm sure there's a market for the Gen 1's. Perfect for those who get turned on by the uncanny valley types.

We're apparently dealing with the case of someone misreading something along the line.

First off, we don't have true AI yet. It's like saying let's make fast cars in 1855.

Then there is the problem that computers do things many factors quicker than any human can.

So if a true AI was indeed created at some point, it would consume information at an incredible rate.
