All I’m asking is for the ability to open folders and files just by thinking about it.

The first wireless brain-to-computer interface actually popped up a few years ago, and DARPA’s worked on various brain chip projects over the years. But there are shortcomings to existing technology: According to today’s announcement, current brain-computer interfaces are akin to “two supercomputers trying to talk to each other using an old 300-baud modem.”

Just imagine the possibilities... You could watch porn any time without anyone knowing. That must be the true motivation behind this research!

Sounds great, until somebody hacks in and starts flooding your brain with tranny porn.

Then you do as you would do with your computer, disconnect and have a cleanup. Of course if the chip itself is not read-only that might pose a sort of a problem :D

I'd rather have something removable tyvm. No way in hell am I letting anyone implant chips into me.

so what happens when you get write commands to your brain in order to store data and it over writes a memory of like say your wedding, the death of good friend, your first kiss though that last one was long enough ago for me that I remember some of the kisses just not the first one... now imagine a virus over writes all the important memories... and your a blank slate with no future.

Looks like our incessant requests for a "What I Mean" button will finally be answered.

Then Hollywood makes a movie of your experiences starring Jim Carrey?

As long as they allow me to overwrite all of those memories with new memories of me having sex with tons of supermodels, I'm good. And to zero-out the memory of me overwriting those memories.

Hah! I don't need any virus for that already.
