AMD announced the appointment of graphics and parallel compute architect Michael Mantor to AMD Corporate Fellow for his demonstrated leadership in graphics engineering. At AMD, Corporate Fellow is the highest possible level of technical recognition with only four employees currently holding the title. Mantor has made key contributions to a diverse set of AMD graphics products, including those that power the Microsoft Xbox One™, Sony PlayStation® PS4™, and multiple generations of AMD Radeon™ graphics. As Corporate Fellow, he will lead graphics and compute architecture teams in the development of next generation architectures to be used in PCs, game consoles, virtual reality devices, workstations, and super computers.

With a new fellow, AMD will be able to release the same chip with a new model number faster and with more fanfare than ever before!

Congratulations to him.

Curious why he is not with The Radeon Group though.

Maybe you guys have something better to do than trolling?

No, I'm with them.
AMD has had numerous chances and opportunities to pull themselves up and push out good products, yet they have blown each one.

Their FX CPUs are a joke by today's standards, barely keeping up with Sandy Bridge (at best and still not clock for clock), and their management has been garbage for years.
Now Zen might be postponed until 2017+, and it most likely won't even be on par with Ivy Bridge... speculation, I know, but with AMD, we hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

AMD, the steadfast sinking ship.

On top of that, it's not really trolling. People are just stating facts. Being a fellow of a company that's on it's way down it's exactly a highly respectable thing AND AMD has been rebranding a lot of their products lately.

At least no one mentioned their driver problems by talking about that whole Crimson debacle. Even bringing that up at all would have totally been trolling.
