Intel has received the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Sustained Excellence in Green Power Award for its continued commitment to green power, marking the eighth consecutive year the company's leadership has been recognized by the EPA. Since 2008, Intel has been the nation's largest voluntary purchaser of green power. Further demonstrating Intel's sustainability leadership, Marty Sedler, Director of Global Utilities and Infrastructure at Intel, also received the Center for Resource Solutions' Green Power Leader of the Year Award. So.. they are not necessarily the largest purchaser of actual "renewable energy". They are the largest purchaser of RECs (Renewable Energy Certificates).

It really sounds like a huge scam to me as it states that the RECs do not have to be tied to the actual electricity being produced.

The whole human caused "global warming" is a scam as well.

Yeah whatever EPA. We all know that Intel actually emits ten to forty times the allowable amount of emissions and they just totally have like defeat devices installed on the renewable energy credits that they purchase.
