Best way to remove a scratch from a LCD display

I have a small but long scratch on my monitor from a Hot Wheels being drove across it, hehe. Been to scared to try and 'erase' it because I'm guessing I'll only make it worse. I don't really notice it unless there is a white backround so I live with it. One day when I get a new monitor I'll have to try fix it, then I'm sure it'll work flawlessly and I'll wish I had done it years ago. ;)

I erased a scratch, well really a wider scuff from something knocked into the display, from personal experience and it worked as far I can tell. It isn't a display I was actively (or am) using though, it's just sitting in storage.

Try bees wax.

I had a horrible patch of scratches on my car that someone left across the door and rear wing.
I was told TCut was the only way to get rid of them.
Bees wax I bought for giving the car a good finish removed them from sight entirely.
I couldnt quite believe it.

Worth a try.
You may have to reapply it after using a solvent/vinegar cleaner on your screen.
