If you have a little free time today, I recommend heading on over to Overclockers Club and read their review of the Sapphire R7 370 Nitro video card.

In five out of nine of the games, we cross up and over the 30FPS range that is deemed playable using moderate settings. In four of the games, however, you will really need to do some tweaking to see just how much eye candy will be reduced to improve the FPS performance of the R7 370 Nitro at 1920 x 1080 to above 30 FPS and beyond.

Hmmm. It's well-beaten by every 950 in the test, which are available for $5 more with no rebate hassle. There's also a 960 that's $5 more after rebate. Not sure why they think it's worth a silver award.

They couldn't just rebadge the 7870 from 2012 again without changes so they made it even slower. Well done, AMD.

It's even beaten by the R7 270. Seems like a significant price cut is in order.

The 370X is coming, supposedly. Wasn't it supposed to be the 950's competition?
The 370 is designed to crush the 750 Ti.

Thats because it IS an R9 270... with 1024 shaders instead of 1280.

I was under the impression that the R7 370 is a rebadge of the R7 265, which was a rebadge of the 7850 (clocks probably changed), where as the R9 270 was a rebadged 7870. I agree with the consensus here, I'd go for a more powerful used card or a 950/960.

Right, they're all pitcairn.
