Tuesday at AzureCon, Microsoft Corp. announced new solutions spanning containers, security, infrastructure and the Internet of Things (IoT) that enable organizations of all sizes to transform their business in today’s mobile-first, cloud-first world. Through these latest advancements, Microsoft continues to showcase rapid innovation on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, while enabling choice and simplicity for a growing list of customers of all sizes including Alaska Airlines, Jet.com Inc. and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Nepal.
 
Got to say this is shocking Microsoft and innovation in one sentence , Steve what are you trying to do here ?
 
My company is heavily vested in AWS. We use pretty much every one of their services to the tune of around $30K/month.

Azure could be interesting but switching cloud infrastructures is not easy or simple. Once a company is all-in on AWS it would have to be a generational shift before they consider moving all their stuff to another provider.

And let's face it, at the end of the day these stuff doesn't even matter. We just need an infrastructure that can scale on demand, and for a reasonable price.
