Anything can happen, but I thought this page’s interactive graphic was fun to play with.

The graphic uses data from the Social Security Administration to simulate your possible lifetimes. That's plural. The line shows the probability you live to see your next birthday, given age and sex. Each running dot represents a possibility.
 
Is each dot a real time death (or close to it) re-averaged in? Otherwise, I don't get the dots.
 
There's someone who's trying to make dying a thing of the past. Good chance this technology will occur within 30 years from now.
