I'm considering picking up an APC Smart-UPS 1500 off ebay that comes with a network add-in card (APC 9619). Is this a valid combination for use with NUT? My goal is to eventually get this to be able to shutdown my ESXi box in case of power failure.

It seems it's an issue with some APFC power supplies, due to how they handle an simulated waveform. I ask because the power supplies I'm using all have APFC.
