OCZ Trion 100 480GB SSD Review

OCZ made a great comeback after being acquired by Toshiba and after releasing two great SSD models (ARC 100 and Vector 180) it was just a matter of time before they too released a more "entry" level one and its name is the Trion 100.

I now await out of date and ill-informed retorts of "Wahhh I'm not going to buy OCZ trash ever again after their last SSD I bought 5 years ago failed! OCZ SUCKS!"

Sigh.

I had a few OCZ ssd's before we good results. Got a trion recently and man is it slow on data copies because of the cache issue. But after all the bulk data was moved (it's on the girlfriends machine) it actually runs very well. Not Samsung Pro speed, but the lady is really really happy with how fast Skyrim loads compared to the old disk based hd it was on.
