Some of these are pretty interesting, like the wall-mounted water-cooled rig. Who would have thought that a row of SSDs could look good on a wall? It also seems that the number of displays are never enough for people. Are there any show-offs from our display forum who have a setup that can match these?

Enter the era of the "battlestation," a high-end rig that's given a position of prominence in the home. The 11 techheads in this article have elevated their home offices to temples of technology, and the extent they go to establish PC superiority is truly amazing.

I don't have a home office like that but I have 8 displays and 7 computers running in my work office. That's not including the three notebooks I occasionally use as well.

I'd be willing to bet money they Apple-fetish guy has a dedicated tissue dispense (with an apple logo on it of course) for all the fapping he does to a lifesize cutout of steve jobs with a strategically placed phallus installed on it.

Some of these are indeed pretty cool.

The term "battle station" is - however - ridiculous and lame...

that wallmount is nice

all the rest with 10+ monitors are only using them to watch porn on different screens simultaneously

That wallmount is a waste of space. It takes the room of a 42" monitor to display the guts of a computer than the monitors look like 24". I'd rather fit that all into a shoebox and have monitors galore for workable space.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or does the first setup "five-monitor arc" actually have 6 monitors?

That 15-monitor Eve Online multi-boxing setup seems insane. I think I'd lose my mind after a few days of that.
