Holy schmoly, that's a lot of money! I think we all need to start bug hunting. :eek:

I am very pleased to be releasing additional expansions of the Microsoft Bounty Programs. Please stop by the Microsoft Networking Lounge at Black Hat, August 5-6, to learn more about these programs. We are raising the Bounty for Defense maximum from $50,000 USD to $100,000 USD. I am also very excited to announce that we are launching a bonus period for Authentication vulnerabilities in the Online Services Bug Bounty.
 
There is a joke here in this but I don't want to be the one that says it.
 
That's because "bugs" can be used to hack into machines. If someone found a bug they could sell it to hackers or to Microsoft. Decisions decisions.
 
Or both? Give hackers a couple weeks head start, unless the sell out.
 
Damn, I'd love to have the knowledge to find these exploits. That's some good money.
 
My Windows 8.1 tablet's touch screen stopped working after I upgraded to Windows 10. That is a bug. Give me $100k please.
