directX and win 10

hey guys,
i installed win 10 on my main system and was crashing non-stop, mostly playing games and facebook. It was page fault, irq, all of them were bsod. i reinstalled drivers, got rid of a good many things that i though may have been at fault, every time it still crashed me.
i found a link talking about directx causing problems and tried rolling back the files using a reg code, it diddnt work, and in a final act of desperation i totaly deleted the directx reg. entry
it has been 2 days and it hasent crashed yet, not even one time. i am done playing with it as i dont want to mess it up , but i have no idea why it fixed it and have no idea why it still even works.
just figured i would pass it along. the reg entry is

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Directx

i just deleted the directx entry from the microsft section.

If your computer crashes with Win10 you probably have a computer that's not compatible with Win10. You should stick to some older OS.

Sounds like its an issue with the overclock if I'm reading your specs correctly. You might need to adjust it if happens again.
