So we are having an issue at work with updating a controller remotely as some hardware went missing and we cannot make the update packages to update a screen by USB. Our only option is a VPN connection to the screen but all the tech has with him is a cell phone for tethering and a laptop.
What we want to try and do is use team viewer's vpn to vpn into the laptop, then be able to ping and access the screen over Ethernet as if it was plugged into our computer here. Is it possible to access the nic card network through the VPN when team viewer and the internet connecting/vpn is done over wifi. I'm unfortunately not network savvy enough to do this and unfortunately this is our last resort. is there a way of joining the 2 networks together so that the vpn from the wifi connection can see the lan connection?
