How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck's PC had wood chips?

"The majority of material in a chip is support. We only use less than a couple of micrometers for everything else," says Zhenqiang "Jack" Ma, UW- Madison electrical and computer engineering professor, who proposes replacing the substrate, or support layer, of a computer chip with cellulose nanofibril (CNF), a flexible, biodegradable material made from wood. "Now the chips are so safe you can put them in the forest and fungus will degrade it. They become as safe as fertilizer."

Saw this a few weeks ago.

So these "chips" are being touted as being biodegradable.

They are, however, encased in a layer of epoxy so that they won't absorb moisture.

Basically a gimmick that doesn't really do what it says it does.

You want termites raiding your Computer and leaving you with nothing but sawdust? Cause this is how you can make that happen.
