MSI X99A MPower LGA 2011-v3 Motherboard Review - MSI’s X99A MPower promises to deliver a ton of features at a reasonable price. SATA Express, full speed M.2 support, and USB 3.1 compatibility are all examples of what this motherboard has to offer. The MSI MPower series has never disappointed us before, so we have high hopes for this motherboard.

You have to spend $120 more for the ACK wireless networking version to get 4-way SLI support? Sounds like MSi milking every penny out of the people already spending big bucks on a LGA 2011-v3 build.

On the other hand, the X99S and the X99 Krait are good buys.

MSI is just like everyone else, they have a ton of products out at each price point.

To have to do any tweaks to get a board to run at stock speeds is ludicrous.

Sounds like it is an unstable early BIOS issue.

These seem to be endemic across the board with so many manufacturers. Hopefully in a few months, it will be stable - MSI has been historically pretty good about updating it's BIOS.

For now though, probably all of the refreshed boards are unstable.
