If you think the Internet is crowded now, just wait until 2019. A new Juniper Research report predicts that video streaming, one of the highest user of bandwidth on the Internet, is set to explode over 350% within the next four years.

The report expects a massive 332.2 million global streaming video subscribers by 2019, up from 92.1 million in 2014.

That's part of the problem, but it's not the main problem, IMO. If they'd cache all the video within the ISPs (really isn't this what they should do with all popular content? It seems like that'd save bandwidth), then the last mile solution would solve things (assuming it's an issue). But sending GoT to millions instead of just sending it a few times to the ISP and then everyone else just gets a cached version. That'd certainly relieve congestion on the backbone pipes.

Everyone should blame Google for their auto-playing YouTube videos and force them to disabe the feature. What an annoyance and waste of bandwidth.
