Sprint launched a direct prepaid cell service to Cuba this week through its subsidiary, Boost Mobile. The Sprint prepaid plan is the lowest cost alternative to other such prepaid plans, where customers will still pay about $.30 per minute including unlimited texting. There is an estimated two Million Cuban-Americans living in the US, most with relatives still in Cuba.

The Obama administration's new Cuban policy regulations approved by the Treasury and Commerce departments have opened the door for U.S.-based telecommunications firms to start potentially lucrative services to Cuba.

Well at least they didn't take Verizon there, the Cubans might consider that as an act of terror.

Sending the worst provider in the U.S. in terms of coverage and service is ok though...
