If a report on Disney is accurate, the mega-entertainment conglomerate is getting into the gambling business. Reports from the Wall Street Journal have Disney, better known for its family oriented wholesome programming and movies, investing $250 Million in DraftKings, a sports fantasy-for-money site.

Disney, which owns sports media giant ESPN, has become an aggressive investor in new markets.

Later this year, they will announce the Disney League with the Mickey Mouse Club, the Mighty Donald and the Clumsy Dingo. A league where everybody wins!

Draftkings is weak compared to the competition. i guess now ESPN can have a "sponsered" bit and have the rubes just chomping at it to start spending money. There are better fantasy sports sites than draftkings... but I guess if you live in LA, Boston, or NY and worship ESPN it will probably become a major player.
