Hey everyone, I am looking at doing cheap low priced upgrades to my parents laptops so that they can use them more often and not complain about the speed.

Does anybody have some cheap low priced SSD drives they want to sell? I think 60 gig drives would work plenty for them.

Thanks!

ebay.com

Intel 320 120gb, $45-55$

Best bang for buck for old/cheap drive with great features. I run them in my linux boxes.

I find a lot of people ask me about which SSD to get and they show me all the latest and greatest drives with 500MBps speeds etc.

Then I point out their laptop is only SATA II and point them to the cheapest Kingston (or similar) that will push 250MBps all day long.

People tend to forget that little point when upgrading older machines with SSDs.

Thank you fellas for the recommendations, but still trying to find a good cheap drive
