alternative to grid autosport

About 130 races in and I'm getting an unplayable stutter. Hours of googleing, hardware upgrading, etc and it's not getting better.

I would like a different game to install that is realistic, but not insane, but also is more street than rally.

I'll dig some on my own, but I was curious if anyone had any recommendations.
 
Played and liked 1. 2 was the exact same game as 1 imo so I didn't play it much, but I might try it again.
 
Wheel or controller user? If the former, you can't go wrong with Assetto Corsa. For the latter, NFS Shift and Shift 2 are pretty decent, but not "realistic" by any stretch of the imagination. But then again, if you liked GRID then they might be up your alley.

I guess I should frame my realisim in terms of...not blur. lol

Controller.

I'll give the shift series a go.
 
F1 2014 if you like F1
Shift 2 is pretty cool, but leans more towards arcade than simulation

Project Cars looks like it's going to be awesome. I have it pre-ordered, it's supposed to release sometime in May
