Hi,
has anyone tested this disk with old chipsets? I was thinking about picking up one for an old X58 platform, which has lots of pci-e lanes, but no SATAIII.
There are not many alternatives that do not include a plugin card f.e. the M6e of plextor which is confirmed boots from MS AHCI, but this seems to use a new controller and be a little faster and M7e is about to be launched this year with the same controller.
