After spending a little quality time with a couple sticks of Patriot's Viper 4 DDR4 16GB 2800MHz, the crew at Bjorn3D seem rather impressed with what they saw.

The Patriot Viper 4 Series DDR4 16GB 2800MHz kit not only looks good it performs well. Nothing about the 2011v3 platform is cheap and the Patriot Viper is no exception at the time of writing the price rang in at $299.99.

I've been using Patriot memory since the early '00s and I have no complaints.

Not that impressive it seems when you can get the same performance for 2/3 the price.
We did some research and found several kits with the same or better timings and 2800MHz speed that cost about a hundred dollars less.

Still waiting on more direct comparisons to 2011 RAM speeds. That quad channel +increased bandwidth is the only thing separating DDR4 from DDR3 for at least a year in my opinion.

Not impressive at all, but they didn't exactly push these to the limit at 1.2v. 15-17-17-36 is nothing most Samsung/Hynix chips can't handle at that voltage.

For comparisons sake, my Corsair LPX 2666 @ 1.3v
