I've not seen PC Hound before.
If this is a recommended system configuration, that's fine.
But you can buy a better system for less money anywhere, anytime.

Perhaps this parts list is several years old??
 
Yeah, it's a viable option. But like most things around here, it's forgotten about quickly. That build above was posted in 2015.

It's fixed now, but for the first couple years the pricing engine would miss several popular items, and mis-link to Newegg's built your own PC engine (wrong prices, and non-existent product links). There was one point where they didn't update the products list for an entire year!

Now it works (and is updated regularly), but component prices are again stealing it's thunder. Just like General Hardware.

why only six Merchants? when I shop around I buy from between 7 - 10 online stores to cut the prices down, it a good ideal I can see where you are going with this but the are other websites that do the same but it is easy forgotten,
