I was just looking at a few of my SSD's and noticed my newest one has a lot of power on times for only being used for 2 months, while one my oldest ones has 31. Is this something to worry about?

How many times have you turned on/restarted your computer?

the 512GB one is in my newest computer, the 4790K one. I built it mid December last year.
I usually put the computer to sleep when I go to bed. I don't think I shut it down or rebooted it 286 times though, that sounds excessive.

the other 2 SSD's are in my 3770K machine and that runs 24/7 and it only reboots when Windows update does it.

The power on number was a bigger deal with Hard Drives where it could be harder on the wear and tear of the mechanical device due to it constantly parking more often. There was another cause for concern with those "Green" drives when they were constantly "parking" every 20 minutes adding more motion into the mix. Still a debatable whether it all matters, but for mechanical devices you take everything into consideration.

Einsteins law: objects in motion tend to stay in motion blah blah.
