Guru3D has posted a review of the ASUS ROG GTX 980 Matrix Platinum today. For comparison purposes, you can see our evaluation here.

This product has been designed for the true aficionados that sub-zero cool the product in order to shatter a benchmark or two. For the more regular folks there's still plenty off changes making this product super nice. It has a custom cooler, a custom PCB, quality components and a factory overclock, all that whilst staying silent. The card has 4 GB graphics memory, is energy efficient and factory overclocked for you.

I have been visiting guru3d everyday since early 2004.. they are still pretty non bias.. I like their honesty here.

It is a perfect card for gaming up-to 2560x1440.
 
Im guessing the Matrix-P's are Asus way to answer back at the Classified, with Memory Defrosters!

A few differences, but looks nicely done.
 
Definitely one of the better cards out there today, but I'll wait for the next gen before I worry about upgrading. Stacked memory and a smaller die will be a big boost. Might be time for a monitor upgrade while I'm at it.
