All those "WW III has begun" news posts you see on the NY Post and United Press Twitter feeds are the work of hackers.

Despite fake reports on the Twitter accounts of both the New York Post and United Press International, no, the United States is not at war with China. And no, the Pope did not say it’s the start of WWIII. According to the news sites themselves, both were briefly hacked this afternoon, with both accounts tweeting fake news about the U.S. Navy engaged in combat with China.

The only thing the NY Post is more trustworthy than is Fox "News". Which isn't saying much since they are both owned by News Corp, which itself is owned by Mr Controversy himself, Rupert Murdoch. :p
