I think a more accurate headline for this article would "researchers like screwing with your head." :)

Artificial 'ghosts' have been conjured up by scientists in an experiment so spooky that two participants asked for it to stop. By having signals mixed up in their brains (shown), volunteers were made to feel that a creepy 'presence' was behind them. They counted up to four phantoms positioned where no-one was standing

Scientist finally prove when scientists already knew, that some primal genes still exist in us to make us "feel" like something is watching us as a method of self preservation. Congrats robot ghost inducing scientists!

I'll gladly vote for funding of 10 more of these studies versus funding Creationists to hunt for fossils and attempt to record their age at 4,000 years old. Seriously..

No one with a shred of intellect take young earth creationists seriously anyhow. All the funding any of them get is only coming from other crazies. Creationism isn't science on any level, it's folklore.
 
I and a group of friends actually saw a real ghost in person. Happened around 12am. No doubt it was genuine. All saw the same thing. Seeing is believing.��

Now that same feeling is there to keep us on our toes so the wife doesn't find out about the porn habit, or in case of some, porn hobbit...

I thought it was well uunderstood that violating corollary discharge would result in internal signals and movements being interpreted as outside ones.

Move your eye. The world seems to stay stationary. Move your eye manually with your finger and reality swerved out of control.

No I am well aware how many do, I'm simply stating I don't consider them intelligent or sane. There is a reason why YEC isn't called a theory or even a hypothesis within actual scientific circles. People just need to learn to ignore them. They are like a child vying for attention, they keep jumping up and down, screaming and holding their breath because they believe that any attention validates their position. Fortunately more and more people who are religious are starting to realize that yes you can in fact believe in evolution/big bang etc And still maintain their spiritual beliefs.
