I bought a new Noctua NH-D14 back in 2011 to use with my 2600k which I have been using daily ever since. Great cooler, wouldn't trade it for the world.
I'm looking at possibly getting a Z87 mobo and a Intel Core i7 4790K.
Do you think the Noctua NH-D14 I bought in 2011 will be compatible?
Here's the description from my order confirmation in 2011:
Noctua NH-D14 LGA1155/1156/1366/AM3 I7/I5/PHENOM Heatpipe Cooler W/ NF-P14 140MM & NF-P12 120MM Fan
(Which I price matched to 64 bucks!)
And the product description in it's current form today:
Noctua NH-D14 LGA1150/1155/1156/1366 AM3 FM1 FM2 Heatpipe Cooler w/ NF-P14 140mm & NF-P12 120mm Fan
Thoughts?
