Marriot Hotels Has Virtual Reality 'Teleporter' Booths

It seems kind of odd that Marriot Hotels has virtual reality teleporter booths. Why go to Hawaii and stay in one of their hotels when you can just use the booth?

This is likely the dumbest thing i've read all day. Such a waste of money too.

I don't think it has to work ... yet... to hold a patent for it

Maybe they just know something we don't.

All they need to do is make something like this that is cheap and affordable by consumers and were going to be well on our way to Wall-E type of humanity as they never leave the house to actually see the world.

I tell my students in my astronomy class, what you will see in a telescope will never look anything like the pictures you see in a textbook but there is something a little more special about actually seeing the thing with your own eyes.

Just put some Google glasses or an Oculus on them, and voila.
