I guess you get what you deserve when you pirate a video game. Especially when the game in question is The Sims 4. Who pirates a Sims game?

Real question is, why does the Sim poop like 6 times in a row?

Cause he's on Fiber
I thought that was the point, the sim gets stuck on the toilet indefinitely. I hope that the case because that peaty funny.
Fiber downloads to porcelain faster!
All jokes aside, seeing innovations such as this to cut down on piracy is welcome. I remember when a helo simulator developer caught a pirate on their own forums. Hilarious commentary was abundant.
EA: Surprise the blur gets larger with each flush!!!
Pirates: Oh no.. its too bad we can't disable the blur in some what.... *cackle*
Honestly it's kind of funny how pirates tend to have a lot more technical support for problems than the game makers themselves. Game is broken, we'll fix that break and re-release a new crack!

Could check a hash against the files used to load perhaps? who knows. So how exactly does a game know it was pirated? Does it just verify it's game code with a server?
Not sure how moddable the game is, if I had to guess based on EA's track record, they're not going to want the end user to mod much at all, however if you want to buy official SIMS 4 DLC then come pay us now!i have not bothered to look, is it still as easy to mod the sims 4 as it was sims 3, like to remove the blur? i have not done any research on the sims 4 possibly having a new blur technique to see if it is moddable or hard coded and would take more digging to remove than before.
i mean if it was a surprise for pirates it makes one think it might be a little tougher too remove than previously. it could still be just as easy tho for all i know and it was just an annoying thing to push those on the verge of buying to just go out and buy it to avoid the constant blur to push a few more sales out the first week or 2 until a work around is published.

EA needs to focus more on making their games good and less on piracy, DLCs, in-game purchases and other shenanigans.
EA had many nasty surprises for those who bought the game too. Feels like playing a small mobile game when compared to Sims 3
The better question is. Why is there a sims 4?
I thought punishment was just releasing it....

To be fair, Sims 2 and Sims 3 both felt pretty bare at launch.
Never played them, however just the fact that they each had about 100 expansion packs. Seems like a shit game.
from what i read somewhere, this was actually a bug that launched with the game. was patched via origin immediately, just fyi. i assume the first versions of the cracks had this. probably not anymore.
Right at the end of the video you see water squirting out of the non-blurred toilet, made me think it was a bidet, or maybe it's one of those fancy Japanese toilets with a dozen functions(including bidet). I always did call EA Electronic fArts.
EA has a surprise for Sims 4 pirates...all 7 of them
