DARPA it seems, is not all weird gadgets and strange robotic machines capable of doing fantastic things. DARPA also has a darker side, utilizing pre-teen gamers to test military research through video gaming. The stuff that bad sci-fi movies are made of.

The Center for Game Science, a research lab that makes educational video games for children, and that received the bulk of its funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the wing of the US Department of Defense that supports research into experimental military technology.

What a shock, the agency that was behind the internet is still funding scientific research.

Naw DARPA probably looking to make their robots creepier and who are the biggest creeps outside of pre-teens on the internet.

If a nine year old can figure it out in less than an hour it should only take two or three years of intensive training for a 22 year old to get it.

Come on Domo- a FUDzilla article on the front page, and now ridiculously inflammatory titles...?

They were not "testing military software on children"; they were testing novel STEM learning software on children, the findings of which could potentially be applied to teaching soldiers in the future.

they are not "militarizing preteens", call of duty does that more than these guys' research...
