Help with getting video files to play

I get audio but no video and I've tried VLC, K-Lite Mega, Super, Avidemux, WMP, and MPC-HC. The video was downloaded with the Firefox DownloadHelper plug-in. Changing the file extension to .mp4 had no effect.

I use handbrake to convert flv to mp4, just makes it easier in the long run.

Convert the FLV to MP4 as Zepher recommended. FLV is a bitch to get to play right.
