Gmail Bug Could Have Exposed Every User’s Address

It's getting to the point now where it is more surprising to find out something doesn't have an exploit.

Until recently, anyone may have been able to assemble a list of every Gmail account in the world. All it would have taken, according to one security researcher’s analysis, was some clever tweaking of a web page’s characters and a lot of patience.

My SPAM rate hasn't gone from unbearable to astronomically unbearable, so I am thinking that nobody has used this exploit recently.

I only really started getting spam when I switched to GMail...

I have a google account that I only use to communicate with a small number of people. I don't ever put it in a public posting like this or for signing up to other services. I get no spam on that account. Zero. Nada. Zilch. Not proof that this email harvesting bug was never exploited, so far it is pointing in that direction.
