Well, at least we are one step closer to the hover concept found in Back to the Future II. Not quite a hover board though.

Looks like an electromagnetic cradle, with a position sensor (given away in the pillow scene - Note the hole in the table, and the ?reflective? patch on the bottom of the pillow.
Magnets on their own, without any additional supports, will not hover. Active support is needed - Like this video demonstrates.
It does look very powerful, though. Neat.
I've always wanted to use a few of the massive neodymium magnets, anchored somehow, to levitate my bedframe.
And throw a 15" subwoofer into the box spring
