I've never been a fan of Al Franken, even when he was on SNL, but I like the way he is spearheading this.

“We literally have members of Congress—I’ve heard members of the House—say, ‘We’ve had all this innovation on the Internet without net neutrality. Why do we need it now?’” he told TIME in an interview last week. “I want to say, ‘Come on, just try to understand the idea. Or at least just don’t give a speech if you don’t know what you’re saying. Please—it hurts my head.”

That last sentence in the above quote makes a lot of sense... hence why it will not be heard in congress.

That said, he basically said the same thing EVERYONE who knows what net neutrality is said the minute the FCC announced "it's" plans (written by Comcast most likely)

Comcast didn't notice the cable cutters until about a year or so ago, that's why.
