email attachments incoming = viruses

Have you discovered a good solution to handle incoming documents and zip files for sales teams ?

Is there a solution so that sales teams can receive electronic documents from 3rd parties that is as convenient as email attachments and avoids problems with trojen/viruses ?

Perhaps some sandbox ?

Perhaps a seamless upload location in a sandbox like a sftp/ftp upload location where one can open and review it in a sandbox ? This must be usable without much training.

Any ideas ?

My filters for email attachments are crude and too broad. The best I can do so far is search them for executable files. I hope others have found a good solution for un-trainable end users.

If you're looking for 3rd part spam filtering in general (Yes, it does antivirus etc), I know Mailprotector works well. I think we pay something like a buck for each address, monthly.

What are you using for email? Is it MS Exchange?
