The desert of Nevada has been invaded by what some may describe as a UFO given their close proximity to the infamous Area 51, but you can relax, there are no little gray men, no UFO and no invasion, it’s only Google and their Project Loon high altitude technology platforms doing a little testing.

In addition, it filed a request to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in September, seeking permission to test its aerial balloons with swathes of radio spectrum usually used for 4G LTE services.

My only complaint is this going to other countries instead of here in the USA where many country folk can benefit from it since Google has no plans to run fiber here in these small towns.

If you ever wondered just how much information Google shares with Governments, you need look no further than this story.

Tell me, just what does a company have to do in order to have its very own Gulfstream jet hangers on US Military bases such as Edwards AFB, Andrews AFB and Moffett Field?

If you live near any of these, drive by sometime and you'll be surprised to see a Google Gulfstream either in taxi or getting a pre-flight check.
