Project Morpheus: GDC 2014 Presentation

I can't wait to try it... just waiting for a killer app or two before plunking money down
 
The Asian dude was really entertaining. Good to see that not all Asian execs have to sound boring.

Would love to see the future of VR racing sim + some sort of specialised seats that exist today.
 
The fact they even bothered creating a device with lower FOV than Oculus tells me they dont "get it". They're just ripping off Oculus thinking it's the next big thing and that they can make a buck or two. The sad thing is it'll work, lots of playstation users will buy it, think it's awesome, and stagnate the market because they'll be no motivation to enhance it. Sony will just assume they've got it figured out because sales are up.
 
I don't do consoles so if it isn't cross platform compatible with PC's then I guess that Oculus Rift will get my cash.
