Tt eSPORTS MEKA G-Unit

The crew at ThinkComputers has the Tt eSPORTS MEKA G-Unit in-house today for a little review action.

Over the past year we have seen a pretty big push into the gaming scene with many different manufactures. One of them has been Thermaltake with their Tt eSPORTS line. We have tested a few of their newer mice and headsets. Being pleased with them, we are quite excited to take a look at one of their keyboards to see if it holds up to the name of the rest of the Tt eSPORTS products we have tested. Today we are taking a look at the Tt eSPORTS MEKA G-Unit Illuminated Keyboard which features Cherry MX mechanical keys, 12 dedicated function keys, backlit illumination and much more.

eSPORTS MEKA G-Unit is probably the most cringe-worthy and face-palm-able name I've heard for a peripheral in a very long time.

Imagine my shock when it's a damned keyboard. Who the hell actually buys into nomenclature like this? Has anyone ever gone into a store looking for anything that had MEKA or G-Unit in the name? Did they throw up in their pants when a company had slapped not just one, but both terrible names on a single product?

Did they buy the keyboard because of their soiled trousers instead of the window air conditioner they had actually gone to the store to purchase?

Do they lament the lack of a Call of Battlefield branded MEKA G-Unit Pimp-Daddy XXXL air conditioner?

There should at least be a picture of a mechwarrior robot aiming a gun sideways on the box!
