Who says Steve Ballmer wasn’t good for Microsoft? According to Wall Street, the resignation of CEO Steve Ballmer has helped drive the Microsoft stock up 34% in 2013. Too bad he is a one trick pony, only one resignation to a CEO, please. :D

Ironically, some of the boost to Microsoft's share price came from Wall Street's favorable reaction to Ballmer's retirement plans.

Microsoft shares had already seen this rise before Ballmer announced his resignation.

US stocks are generally vastly overvalued. Quantitative Easing FTW.

Yep, all that money they keep dumping into the economy has to go somewhere.

However, 34% is better than the average for 2013, plus they still pay a decent dividend.
