It’s not known if Microsoft is attempting to stress the point that the company no longer considers XP and Server 2003 relevant, but it sure looks that way. After releasing patches for the spoof fix to all editions other than XP, Microsoft finally got around to the aging operating system. Take this as a shot across the bow of XP. ;)

All support for Windows XP will end after Patch Tuesday this coming April, 2014. Support for Windows Server 2003 will extend into 2015.

How about fixing the damn Windows Update taking forever issue in XP before April Microsoft? Thanks!

Do the cumulative IE8 security patch for the respective month. Like right now it'll be fore December. It's going to do it every month until automatic updates ends.

It's not really windows problem, its Internet Explorer 8.
