Titanfall Announcement Today

bleh, I read this too quickly and thought it's about Blizzard's Titan =)

But this screenshot looks cool, too.
 
Hadn't heard of this game. Looking at their official site, it actually looks pretty badass!
 
Watching the video in Titanfall.com it seems difficult to tell who's not on your team.

I have to agree. It looks like a mediocre mech shooter combined with a mediocre call of duty shooter with a silly parkour element.
Even the game play video I have seen, looks as scripted and unnatural as the old killzone2 trailers.
Everyone has a massive hard on for this but it looks to me like cod with mechs and I'll bet outside of that crowd, it won't have any staying power.

Well it is Respawn, the same guys who made CoD what it is today.

I'm not thrilled about this game only due to lack of any single player. I don't play multiplayer like I use to so it would have to be pretty amazing to pull me in.
