Intel Reports Third-Quarter Revenue of $13.5 Billion

Intel Corporation today reported third-quarter revenue of $13.5 billion, operating income of $3.5 billion, net income of $3.0 billion and EPS of $0.58. The company generated approximately $5.7 billion in cash from operations, paid dividends of $1.1 billion, and used $536 million to repurchase 24 million shares of stock.

Summary... PC sales down 7.5% YoY, Intel's revenue declined 3.5% YoY. AMD announces quarterly results tomorrow.

AMD reported and unsurprisingly, CPU sales are down significantly (-15% YoY). The graphics segment did very well, with +96% YoY due to the console deals. Net income was (barely) in the black this quarter: $48 million, better than the $74 million and $157 million losses last quarter and 1 year ago.
