Well, everyone kind of figured Bill Gates wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon, but after Ballmer’s tearful goodbye to Microsoft last week, most observers thought we had seen just about the last of him on the Microsoft Campus. Au Contraire Mon Frere’!

It is highly likely both Gates and Ballmer will be re-elected by shareholders at the annual meeting on November 19.

Isn't Gates supposed to be selling off his holdings in their entirety by 2018?
