Verizon, Vodafone Iron Out Wireless Deal

A $130 Billion deal between Verizon and Vodafone for shares of Verizon Wireless has been approved by each company and finalization could come as early as Monday if approved by both boards according to sources. The deal would buy back Vodafone’s share of Verizon Wireless, giving Verizon total ownership.

Verizon has for years sought to buy out Vodafone's 45 percent stake Verizon Wireless, which is the No. 1 wireless provider in the United State and the fastest-growing and most profitable part of Verizon.
